Order an ice cream with two flavours. Quite some choice. Good portions and nice taste. You got a toilet downstairs unfortunately there’s only one slot so you may have to wait.

Super friendly staff and the ice cream was delicious! We got the raspberry whiskey and the Scottish tablet. Both were great but the raspberry whiskey was amazing! You really don't taste the whiskey much so don't let that stop you from trying it! Highly recommend getting a double scoop!

All good. Small cafe. Great cake selection. Had sandwich lunch and cheesecake. Went back next day to buy apple pies and raspberry and whisky ice cream.

Ahhhh, Mackenzie’s… do you like ice cream? AYE! I sure do. So when our tour of Loch Ness and the Scottish highlands stopped here and recommended grabbing an ice cream cone, I did not hesitate. Especially when our tour operator informed usthey had a “Whiskey and Raspberry” flavor. I mean, come on! And then when we got there, I ended up getting a doblé scoop because they also have a “Scottish Tablet” flavor. I’m not even sure what that is, but it sounded Scottish, so I’m in! McKenzie‘s is a small little shop, and they offer other items besides ice cream, but that was all I was there for, so that was all I got. And I was very pleased with my selections. Rich creamy ice cream that absolutely hit the spot after a wonderful day of exploring beautiful Scotland. I think just about everyone from our bus went to the shop for an ice cream tree, but the service was very fast and they were friendly as well. I don’t even know how to pronounce the town‘s name (Pitlochry), but if you ever find yourself in that region area, you should definitely treat yourself to a delicious ice cream treat!

Paid a little visit here on our way home after stopping overnight nearby in the campervan. Needed some food in our bellies for the road ahead. We had a few filled rolls with bacon, egg, sausage and black pudding and they were all delicious. The milkshakes were also really very good. We even had some deserts while we were there, just because they were on display and looked so good we had to try. The strawberry tart and the passion fruit cheesecake were amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's also a dog friendly place for well behaved dogs which was good as we had ours with us. I would highly recommend Mackenzie's and I have no doubt we will be back there in the future.

Our last stop after a full day exploring the Scottish Highlands was this cozy little house café in Pitlochry, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place had such a warm, quiet charm, the kind that instantly makes you feel at home. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with onions, some chips, and a cold drink. simple, but exactly what I needed after a long day of walking and discovering.

Was having a wee walk along the street and fancied a cuppa and we came across this place,it was pretty quiet so ventured in.As soon as we did it noticed a cabinet of homemade cake delights faced us.They weren't cheap BUT I can honestly say the Eclair was lovely,my only grumble was it was too small for the price.That said you could tell it was homemade.The place itself is quaint although a little cold,and the toilets are definitely in need of a bit of TLC,but that said.Was well worth the visit
